East Hampshire's motorists will have 11 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And five of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A3, from 8pm October 10 to 6am November 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands, carriageway closure between the exit and entry slips roads for structures maintenance.

• A27, from 8pm November 1 to 6am December 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 both directions Hartsfarm Way, Slip and roundabout closure for inspections.

• A3, from 9pm October 23 2023 to 6am February 29 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M3, from 8pm November 20 to 6am December 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 5, slip road and lane closure's for drainage works, diversion via National Highways Network.

• A3, from 8pm November 20 to 6am November 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Liphook to Ham Barn Roundabout, Lane closure for grass cutting works.

• A3, from 8pm November 21 to 6am November 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Hambarn to Liss, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A3, from 8pm November 22 to 6am November 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Flexcombe to Longmoor, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A3, from 8pm November 27 to 6am November 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Berelands, Slip and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm November 28 to 6am November 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Hambarn to Liss, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A3, from 9pm November 29 to 6am November 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands, slip road closure for grass cutting works.

• A3, from 9pm December 1 to 6am December 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Queen Elizabeth Park, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
