Aldershot Town are gearing up for their first home game of the season against Hartlepool United today (Saturday, August 15).

The National League match at the EBB Stadium will kick-off at 3pm.

The Shots got their National League campaign off to the perfect start last Saturday with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Boston United.

Aldershot also enjoyed some encouraging results in pre-season, winning six, drawing one and losing one of their eight matches.

The Shots started their pre-season with a 2-0 win at Badshot Lea, before drawing 0-0 at Bedford Town and winning 2-0 at Fleet Town.

The Shots then won 2-0 at home to Championship outfit Portsmouth, before winning 2-1 at home to Farnborough, losing 3-1 at home to Oxford United, winning 2-0 at Hanwell Town and winning 2-1 at Braintree Town.
