Waverley lost by 18 runs at Sandhurst.

The visitors started well in the field, with Max Oliver (two for 28) taking two quick wickets to leave Sandhurst struggling on 23 for three.

A partnership of 31 between Ben Davison (19) and Rouf Zargar (16) got the home side back on track before Adam Carmichael (two for 18) and Finley Upward (two for 25) ripped out the middle order.

Anshul Arya (30) and Shaun Deller (20) scored vital runs before Nitesh Yadav (two for six) took the last two wickets to bowl the hosts out for 131.

Waverley lost opener Scott Upward (seven) early on, but were well placed at 51 for one before Aiden Upward fell for 22.

The visitors then suffered a dramatic batting collapse, with Zargar (five for 32) doing most of the damage.

Yadav scored 49 but received little support as Waverley were bowled out for 113.
