Ukrainian refugee Iva Repnytska is asking for Post readers’ help to raise funds for 100 military doctors in Ukraine.

When she arrived in Petersfield last year, she knew she wanted to do something to help her home country. Iva has been knitting rugs and baskets from old T-shirts and selling them to raise funds for Ukrainian doctors.

The baskets come in all different colours and can be used for toiletries or fruit.

Iva said: “They bring positive energy and my love.”

She hopes when the war ends she will return to Ukraine, leaving baskets full of her warmth and love in Britain. If you want to support Iva’s efforts, her baskets are on sale at Refill and Replenish on Petersfield High Street.
