A MINUTE'S silence was held in memory of Red Arrows pilot John Egging at the Wings And Wheels show at Dunsfold, as a mark of respect for the RAF officer who was killed at last month's Bournemouth Air Show.

A book of condolence was also open for the thousands who visited the Dunsfold Park site to pat their respects.

Despite the absence of the Red Arrows, the skill of the pilots flying many different types of aircraft on both days of the show impressed with the stunts designed to thrill the crowds.
