A man in his 80s has been seriously injured following an accident close to the A325 ‘peanut’ roundabout in Whitehill.
Hampshire Police have reported that a pedestrian and a car came into collision on Liphook Road just before 4pm today (Tuesday, July 15).
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries to his legs and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The scale of the emergency services presence at the site raised concerns with several police cars, ambulances and fire engines in attendance.
Police tape was also put up but has since been removed with the operation being scaled down at 6pm.
