Art lovers who appreciate the paintings of the late Farnham artist John Bryce have until January 5 to view his work and maybe buy a piece for their home.

Speaking on December 5, Dr Outi Remes – director of the New Ashgate Gallery in Waggon Yard, Farnham – said: “From today, it is exactly one month until our John Bryce’s extended final exhibition must close.

“The family is unable to extend it any further despite it being so popular and loved. We still have some lovely Farnham paintings on display and sale.”

She continued: “In addition our popular festive showcase, that includes some local talent, also makes a brilliant festive gift or a visit simply to enjoy.

“The first three are by Susie Lidstone, showcasing the town centre locations, the fourth image by Shirley Watson of Bourne Woods, and finally by Helen Long of Farnham Park.”
