LIPHOOK Junior School held its annual Twelve Days of Christmas fair, which attracted many visitors eager to do some festive shopping.

Organised by Friends of Liphook Junior School, the event raised £900 for the school.

Delights on offer included Christmas cards, jewellery, soft toys, sweets and other gifts. There was a chance to win bottles and chocolates in the popular tombola, and more prices in a raffle as well as a lucky dip.

Hand-crafted items like tree decorations, baubles, charms and Christmas stockings made by the children were also on sale.

Shoppers were able to enjoy seasonal food, hot drinks, mince pies, cakes and Dylan’s ice-cream, while browsing the many stalls.

Head of school Jacky Taylor thanked Friends of Liphook Junior School for their hard work in organising the event.

“It is wonderful to see our school community coming together to support an event like this”, she said.

“The children will benefit so much from new resources, which can be purchased with the money raised.”
