THE Hindhead Tunnel will open to traffic next week, the Highways Agency has announced.

Secretary of State for Transport Philip Hammond will open the A3 tunnel, which is the longest of its type in the UK and is part of the £371m scheme which will bypass Hindhead, next Wednesday, July 27.
