Glow Marwell returns to Marwell Zoo with double the sparkle from November 24 to December 30.

There will be more than half a million twinkling LED bulbs, with light displays including a 40-yard multicoloured light tunnel, a towering enchanted tree, 32 light-up stepping stones and glowing seesaws in a variety of colours to join last year’s moon chairs.

The Glow trail, which encompasses the front loop of the zoo, explores the theme of enchanted nature and comprises moving butterflies, a projected enchanted Glow Forest, lasers, lights and snow.

Displays will incorporate music to awaken the senses and add a magical, festive feel, while Christmas food cabins will create a Christmas market vibe. Café Graze will have festive fare to tempt those looking for a full meal, and there are fire pits so guests can toast marshmallows and make s’mores.

There will be illuminated butterfly wings, silhouette walls, the rainbow road, teepees scattered with fairy lights, festive festoons and dandelion illuminations complemented with glowing blooms, delicate clouds and more snow. Father Christmas will visit on selected dates and tickets to see him cost £10 per under-18, including a gift.
