A PETERSFIELD charity which supports struggling families could get an extra £15,000 in its Christmas stocking if well-wishers make a donation next week.
Donations to HomeStart Butser between November 28 and December 5 will be match-funded through the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023.
The maximum sum that can be match-funded is £15,000 with even £1 donations being doubled through the annual scheme.
Every penny counts as the Winton House charity spent £170,000 helping a record 176 struggling families in the Petersfield and Butser area last year.
“This campaign is the biggest fundraising challenge in our 25th anniversary year,” said scheme manager, Nicola Winter.
“We are asking for as many people as possible to support our Big Give Christmas Challenge.”
