IT was all systems go at Witley Village Fair, which kicked off with a country dancing display by Witley Infant School pupils, followed by The Chandlers Junior School’s Got Talent winners performing back flips and other gymnastics.

The action continued with children’s races involving buckets and sacks and an energetic Zumba routine open to visitors of all ages.

For those who wanted to take it easy, Fullers Brewery returned for the third year running with heavy horses Pride and Griffin offering rides around the recreation ground.

Milford’s The Music Works featured some of the best up-and-coming singers, and Godalming’s The Arden Holford School of Ballet enabled young dancers to shine. All Saints Church provided tea and cake in the Chichester Hall .

Committee member Sarah Carter said: “As well as raising funds for Witley’s community groups taking part, a sum of £500 was raised for this year’s charity, The Friends of Milford and Witley Medical Partnership.

“The fair committee would like to thank all our visitors and everyone who helped, ran a stall, provided entertainment, donated prizes or provided sponsorship.”
