The Haslemere Thespians are set to take the stage at the Haslemere Hall with their latest production Around The World In 80 Days later this month.

The play, inspired by the classic Jules Verne novel, promises to be a thrilling adventure, following the story of Phileas Fogg, a wealthy man of science who bets his entire fortune on circumnavigating the globe in just 80 days.

The play features a small ensemble of actors playing more than 50 characters, including Fogg’s loyal valet Passepartout, bandits, a herd of buffalo and an inspector from Scotland Yard who may prevent Fogg from completing his ambitious journey.

Audiences will be taken on a journey from the misty alleys of Victorian London to the steamy subcontinent, travelling aboard steamships, locomotives and even elephants. Along the way, Fogg will learn about the world and himself, in a heart-warming tale of adventure and self-discovery.

The Haslemere Thespians have been hard at work preparing for the show, and tickets are now on sale for the performances on Friday, April 28 at 7.30pm and Saturday, April 29 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. The play promises to be a rollicking romp around the world, with tickets available for just £15.50.
