The Butser Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a bike marking event towards the end of April.

It will take place at The Petersfield Mens Shed on Saturday, April 26 from midday to 2pm.

The marking kits police will use are from BikeRegister and consist of two temper-resistant labels which are placed on the frame of the bike. The bike will then be registered on the BikeRegister national cycle database using the unique code on the label.

For information on the details collected and the Privacy Policy for the BikeRegister database please visit, https://www.bikeregister.com/information/privacy-policy.

BikeRegister is the national cycle database loved by cyclists and preferred by police. It is used by every police force in the UK to reunite hundreds of owners with their stolen bikes every year.
