BBC snooker commentators John Virgo and Steve Davis will bring their double act to the annual Farnham Billiards & Snooker Awards Night at Lindford Club on November 9.

In a break with tradition, the event will be on a Thursday rather than Friday. Steve Davis, the six-time World Champion, will play the one-frame matches against the league’s top break-makers, while John Virgo, ranked 10 in the world at his peak, will provide the expert commentary. It is hoped that the former top pros will also play a match against the league’s pairs winners.
