FARNHAM Town have been rocked by the resignation of manager Luke Turkington.

The popular boss had been at the club for two seasons - and had enjoyed plenty of success.

He was, however, frustrated by the Football Association’s decision to tear up last season’s results, which denied Town promotion to the Premier Division of the Combined Counties League.

He is leaving to take over at Wessex League Premier Division Alresford Town - a step up from division one of the Combined Counties.
