LIPHOOK United will entertain Clanfield in the Hampshire Intermediate Cup semi-finals after two thrilling quarter-finals on Saturday.

Liphook came from well behind to beat Alresford Reserves 4-3, thanks to three late strikes from Oli Page, Stuart Green and Steve Harding, the latter also scoring in the first half.

Hayling United and Clanfield were locked together, 2-2, after 90 minutes, Josh Hazell and Greg Parker having scored for the visitors. And it was Clanfield who edged through, 7-6, after an epic penalty shoot-out.

Paulsgrove beat Isle of Wight side Binstead & Cob 5-2 and will be away to Bush Hill Reserves in the other semi-final.

Liss Athletic had one of their best results in the Hampshire Premier League, winning 2-1 away to Senior Division leaders Locks Heath. Brandon Bowman gave the visitors an early lead. Calum Britton equalised for Locks Heath from the penalty spot, but Dave Harding got the Liss winner in the 65th minute.

In Division?One, AFC Petersfield surpassed themselves by thrashing second-placed Netley Central 5-0. Will Yates, Ed Brundle, Gerald Joseph, Alfie Devaney and Frankie Smith scored the goals.

Four Marks also hit five, beating bottom side Michelmersh 5-3. Martin Burt (2), Ryan Bunney, Liam Marwick and Jamie Bentley scored for the home side. Headley lost 2-0 at South Wonston.
