FARNHAM were denied a much-needed victory as Horley equalised in the dying moments of a hard-fought Combined Counties Premier League match on Saturday.

Town were poised to celebrate their first win in 11 matches after taking the lead with a Nick Medcraft goal and then defending it with gritty determination.

However, seventh-placed Horley saved themselves and broke Farnham hearts when substitute Tate Greenaway levelled the scores with virtually the last kick of the game.

Farnham’s Aldershot Senior Cup third-round match away to Bagshot was postponed on Tuesday. This Saturday, Farnham host local rivals and fellow strugglers Godalming Town, kick-off 3pm at the Memorial Ground.
