LOCAL teams are involved in the Extra Preliminary Round of the Emirates FA Cup when the competitive season kicks off next week.

Alresford Town are first in action, travelling to Sholing on Friday, August 4.

The following day, Saturday, August 5, Petersfield Town, under new manager Jim Macey, have an FA Cup date at Thatcham Town.

Paul Tanner’s Farnham Town entertain Fawley in their FA Cup opener.

On Sunday, August 6, Badshot Lea host Verwood Town at Camberley Town’s ground (ko 3pm).
