ALDERSHOT Town rejected two offers for 17-year-old striker Idris Kanu last week, one from an EFL Championship club.
The offers were received by both Gary Waddock and chairman Shahid Azeem and, after consultation with Kanu, all agreed that the offer was not right for the player or Aldershot at this time.
The former West Ham Academy player joined Aldershot on a long-term contract last October, when he was 16. The forward joined the Hammers aged 11 and broke into their U21 side when he was just 15.
Kanu also played for Manchester United’s U18 side during a trial in September and left the London Stadium soon after.
