BUGS Netball Club are celebrating an unbeaten season of 18 matches since October in the Basingstoke League Division One.

The Bordon team comprises mainly under-20 players, but they have shown maturity and determination in winning some close matches by fighting through to the very last minute to achieve their league title.

BUGS have seen off local rivals ANTS and teams from Basingstoke, Andover and Alresford.

Many of the girls have played for BUGS since they were 11 and have trained hard for this reward. They have also attended courses for umpiring, coaching and first-aid in support of their club.

Other BUGS teams, including seniors and juniors, have also enjoyed success at their Wavell base.
