SEALE & Sands Bowls Club members celebrated a successful season at the Royal British Legion at The Sands when the coveted trophies were presented.

The trophies were for both internal and external competitions and the club were particularly proud to win the Farnham & District President’s Shield and also to have a member competing in the national singles finals.

The club is generally looking in good shape. Charmian Lester, the Seale & Sands chairman, said: “Nearly twenty new members have joined this year, including six from the U3A, and we have had lots of fun days.”

Seale & Sands BC are holding a free ‘taster day’ on Sunday, May 13. Anyone wishing to try out the game of bowls can book in by ringing 014287 12060.
