AMY Griffiths won the women’s race in the second round of the Hampshire Cross Country League at Popham.

Aldershot, Farnham & District AC team-mates Niamh Brown and Grace Baker took second and third and since all three runners are juniors, the club had a perfect score in that category too.

Ryan Martin won the under-13 boys’ event, leading Sam Bodoano, who was fourth, and George Manolis, sixth, to victory.

AFD’s other win came in the U15 boys’ competition where Max Heyden finished third, Marcus Shantry fourth and Luke van Oudtshoorn fifth.
