STAGECOACH Liphook has welcomed their newest and youngest pupils to the exciting and innovative “mini-stages” classes.

A class of children from the age of two to four have embarked upon a journey discovering musical theatre and performing arts through “nursery rhyme land” which covers key learning areas such as literacy and numeracy skills, communication and social development.

They have been using sensory aids, stories and songs to explore their imaginations in the theme-based class each week.

Stagecoach principal Leanne Desmond said: “It has been a fun and exciting journey so far and a delight to watch the children interact with each other and their teacher. Pupils are using their singing voices and exploring new dance movements.

“It’s lovely to see them working creatively in the world of role play making the impossible possible.

“In the first three weeks pupils have already progressed in confidence and communication skills and we have had some wonderful parent feedback.

“All our mini-stages are very much looking forward to our upcoming classes and will be moving forward to explore ‘Me and my Environment’ in the coming weeks.”
