More than 60 walkers laced up for three sponsored walks in aid of Home-Start last Saturday, organised jointly by Alton Lions and Walk Alton.

Just over 40 walkers set off on five and ten mile routes from Alton Sports Centre, while around 17 little ones and their families completed two laps of Jubilee Fields.

The walks raised around £1,500 for Home-Start Hampshire.

Home-Start Hampshire is a voluntary organisation in which volunteers offer regular support and practical help to families under stress to help give their children the best possible start in life.
