A MAN from Liss has been jailed and another from Liphook remanded in custody after a heavy steel wheelie bin was manhandled and pushed onto the railway line at Liphook Station – just before it was struck by a freight train.

The wreckless act closed a section of the main Portsmouth to Waterloo line for more than six hours, causing chaos.
