PLANS for The Willows Nursery to use the Canada Room, at the Millennium Centre, from September have been put into action.
During an extraordinary meeting held by the Liphook Millennium Centre management committee, last Wednesday, an agreement was reached to allow The Willows to use its premises up to and including December 2015.
Bramshott and Liphook Parish Council released a statement which read: “The committee agreed to allow The Willows to pay £31.74 per day for this period thereby meaning no change in the fees they paid at the pavilion building on the Recreation Ground.
“The nursery school will therefore be able to re-open for the autumn term once Ofsted have inspected and deemed the premises to be acceptable. This usage will not impact on other users who have already booked the Millennium Centre for activities.
“The parish council are continuing to liaise with Hampshire County Council’s services for young children to seek a longer-term solution for nursery provision in Liphook.”
