PARALYMPIAN sprinter Olivia Breen will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of England footballer Wayne Rooney, US Open tennis winner Andy Murray and teenage Olympic diver Tom Daley by landing a prestigious gong this weekend.

The 16 year old is one of 10 youngsters nominated for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award.

The winner will be announced during Sunday night's live broadcast from London's ExCeL Centre, when nearly all of the stars of arguably the greatest summer of sport Britain has ever seen will gather.

The show will be broadcast live on BBC1.
