CAMPAIGNERS from the No Wey Incinerator Action Group have released a YouTube video showing how the proposed Veolia incinerator on the A31 would dominate the countryside around Alton.
Group spokesman Ben Stanberry said: “The beautiful landscape around Alton will be permanently damaged if this 40-metre high building with 80-metre chimneys goes ahead.
“Veolia is due to submit a planning application to Hampshire County Council, followed by a 30-day consultation, and we will ensure residents are aware of this facility’s impact and how to object.”
