CANON Andrew White returned to Baghdad last week, following revelations of his personal involvement in the release of UK hostage Peter Moore in December.

Canon White, from Liphook – dubbed the Vicar of Baghdad – stated that since his return to Iraq he has been trying to do a lot of work on the release of Alan McMenemy, 34, from Glasgow, the one remaining hostage.
