TO complete their successful year, nine Matrix Baton Twirlers participated in the Fusion Open Competition in Aldershot – and they landed seven awards.

Mia Kemp won a special award in Pee Wee Basic Strut, Hannah Malone came third in Pee Wee Military Strut and Pom Strut. Shannon Kemp also came third in Pre-Teens Pom Strut.

Luke Duncan finished first in Junior Solo Twirl and second in Military Strut. Krystal Duncan won Senior first in Pom strut and Duet and second in Solo Twirl, Hayley Marlow came second in Senior Basic Strut and Military Strut, while Rosie Malone came first in Senior Duet.
