A LIPHOOK man who led the £371m Hindhead Tunnel project has been named in the New Year's Honours list.
Paul Arnold, the Highways Agency's senior project manager, has been made an MBE.
One of Mr Arnold's first projects was identifying and delivering a solution to the notorious bottleneck at the A3 Hindhead traffic lights that created daily tailbacks daily during peak periods.
