REPRESENTATIVES from the Care Quality Commission, the national body responsible for inspecting hospitals and care homes, has made an impromptu visit to Liphook and Liss surgeries.

And after a day at the practice, they declared that both practices were fully compliant with all required standards.

Practice manager Mike Korab said: "Over the past couple of years we have worked hard to develop our policies and processes to be truly patient-centric.

"I wish to thank the surgery team for their hard work in achieving these tough new standards."
