THE Bramshott and Liphook Neighbourhood Development Plan steering group is due to hold a third design forum at the Millennium Centre tomorrow (Tuesday) under the guidance of independent consultant Feria Urbanism.

Development plan chairman Emma Winfield said: “The format will be a more focused technical workshop based on the insights, issues and outcomes from the first two days earlier this month.

“As a result of questions and challenges identified, additional research has been undertaken. This new information will be used to form key decisions regarding the framework and focus of the plan. This is an important milestone as we move forward into wider engagement with the parish in the next stage of the process.

“The steering group encourages everyone who was involved in the first two days of the design forum to come along for the third day. This will be key to ensuring we generate and develop a constructive and efficient debate needed be able to progress the neighbourhood development plan.

“New participants are also welcome and anyone who wishes to come along should fully reviewed the progress and findings from the first two days, so they are informed about the issues and challenges to date.

“The neighbourhood development plan steering group is already beginning to look at wider community engagement including additional events and feedback sessions, options for providing online input and feedback, and the ability to register for email updates and details of future events.”

Feria Urbanism and the steering group have presented the story so far, highlighting the unique challenges the parish faces and additional work required to seek a solution which the community can reach a consensus on.

The third design forum, on November 28, opens at 9am and runs until 6pm. For the latest information, including copies of presentations and a video summary of the first two days, visit bramshottandliphookndp.uk.
