THE speed limit on the notorious B3004 through Passfield will be cut from 50mph to 40mph after a compromise was thrashed out by road safety chiefs.
Although the Village 30 proposal by Bramshott and Liphook Parish Council for the road – which has been the scene of several fatal accidents in recent years – was initially refused by Hampshire County Council, a cut in the speed limit will now go ahead.
