An Alton town centre shop adjacent to Market Square is to be auctioned next month.

The freehold of 22 Market Street is listed for sale by regional land and property auction firm Clive Emson Auctioneers.

Currently partially let at £9,000 per annum, the property has a guide price of £150,000-plus. The building is arranged as two commercial units on the ground floor – the front unit currently occupied by Alton Food Bank and the rear unit by Taylored Beauty Bar, while a flat on the upper floor has been sold off under the terms of a long lease.

The auction starts on May 2 and ends on May 4.
