LIPHOOK'S biggest event – its 112-year-old carnival – is under threat and may not survive another year.
The village's historic institution, which draws up to 4,000 into Liphook each year and raises thousands of pounds for charity in the process – could end for good because of a severe lack of volunteers committed to organising the annual spectacle.
