HOLLYCOMBE Primary School has held its annual summer fair, raising more than £2,500 to help cover the cost of educational items that will benefit pupils.

Everyone who attended the fun-filled family event in Milland, which was organised by the Hollycombe Parents Association (HPA) and sponsored by Keats Estate and Letting Agents in Liphook, enjoyed a variety of activities including a mobile climbing wall, bouncy castle, gymnastics show, hook-a-duck and more.

This year the fair attracted many people from the local area, while Keats covered the cost of the mobile climbing wall, which stood more than seven metres high and was tackled by both children and adults.

Staff from the Liphook office also ran a hook-a-duck challenge and fun target shooting game, while Dylan’s Ice Cream contributed proceeds to the HPA fund.

Hollycombe headteacher Tamsin Austoni told The Herald: “Thanks to the HPA and Keats of Liphook, our school summer fair was bigger and better than ever.

“The amount raised is fantastic and the funds will make a real difference to the school and our pupils.

“We are grateful to Keats for sponsoring the event and making it possible for us to have a mobile climbing wall, which proved to be a real hit. I would also like to thank everyone who joined us on the day as it was lovely to welcome people from the local area and beyond. We look forward to hosting the summer fair again next year.”

Keats manager Tom Garrad added: “We really enjoyed supporting the school summer fair and meeting pupils, teachers and parents.

“It was a well-organised community event and we are pleased that such a substantial amount was raised.”
