HASLEMERE Rotary Club and Disking Computers teamed up to provide Chromebooks for pupils at St Bartholomew’s Primary School.

The Rotary Club originally joined forces with Disking Computers last year to encourage the recycling of unwanted laptops. These were collected at Haslewey and Disking Computers in Liphook, which replaced hard drives and renovated them – and they are now being used by secondary school pupils.

The Rotary Club has now extended the programme by seeking grant funding to provide Chromebooks to some junior school pupils – with 16 delivered to St Bartholomew’s.
