SWAPPING their desert combats for ceremonial service dress, soldiers serving with the 2nd Battalion The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment (2 PWRR) have returned to serve in the UK for the first time in six years.
And for one Liphook soldier, the Battalion's two-year posting at the newly refurbished Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, south-east London, will see him and his comrades take up a very different role from previous years.
They will be guarding The Queen outside some of England's biggest tourist landmarks – Buckingham Palace, St James's Palace, Windsor Castle and the Tower of London.
