Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And five of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A3, from 8pm January 6 to 6am July 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Milford, carriageway closure for roadmarkings renewal.

• A3, from 8pm June 9 to 6am December 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Hogs Back to Longmoor, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.

And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A27, from 9pm June 17 to 6am June 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3M and A27 Harts Farm Way, Teardrop closure for resurfacing work.

• A3, from 8pm June 18 to 6am June 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Weston to Qe2 Country Park, Lane closure for electrical works.

• A3, from 8pm June 23 to 6am June 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3M northbound, junction 2 to junction 1, carriageway closure for maintenance work.

• A3(M), from 8pm June 23 to 5am June 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3M southbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closure for technology works.

• A27, from 8pm June 23 to 6am June 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A27 eastbound, Harts Farm Way to Langstone, carriageway closure for resurfacing work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
