THE future of next year's Liphook Carnival is in doubt, despite being a massive success with a record turnout of spectators and participants at the weekend.
More enforcements imposed by East Hampshire District Council with regard to health and safety issues, as well as the police proposing to impose a charge for their time and manpower during the carnival festivities next year, is putting enormous pressures on the organising committee to come up with enough funds for the event.
