SNAKES alive! Haslewey Community Centre was overrun by reptiles last Tuesday when Tom’s Talking Reptiles came to town.
Children were invited to two sessions in the afternoon to meet snakes, tortoises, lizards and stick insects ands learn about their lives and habitats.
“The children and their parents really enjoyed it,” said Magda Psonka, the centre’s deputy manager.
“It was something different and the tickets sold out quickly.
“We had 18 children in the first session and 16 or 17 in the second and they all got an Easter egg from us at the end.
“I hope Tom’s Talking Reptiles will come back again in the summer.
“It was brilliant for the price and the people from Tom’s said how much they enjoyed themselves too and how well behaved the children were. They listened and asked lots of questions.”
