THE Royal Anchor, in Liphook square, reopened last week when 150 guests were wined and dined in newly-refurbished surroundings.

Closed for extensive refitting since February 28, the opening evening was blessed with glorious sunshine and guests and their families were able to enjoy the decking in extended outdoor areas, as well as the new children's playground.
