AFTER a three-month public consultation, Hampshire library hours are set to change – with Liphook's branch gaining a new afternoon session but still losing two hours per week.

Councillor Keith Chapman is being asked to agree a small reduction in the opening hours of 26 of Hampshire's 53 Library and Discovery Centres.

The cut in opening hours will help contribute toward an eight per cent budget cut needed for 2012/13.
