TRAVEL journalist and photographer Ramy Salameh is currently holding a photographic exhibition at Haslemere Museum called ‘Travel Captured Through My Lens’.

It runs until April 3 and features more than 50 images from some of the many journeys and assignments he has enjoyed worldwide.

Ramy, who lives in Haslemere, works in London as the public relations manager for the Korea Tourism Organisation, based in the Haymarket in the West End.

His work has appeared in various global publications.

“I hope these images portray the spirit of travel and adventure, and resonate with visitors to the museum, who I am sure will have been to many of the places depicted, triggering their own memories and emotions,” he told The Herald.

A spokesman for the museum said: “The director of the Korean tourism organisation Changho Cha and deputy director Hyeongjoon Kim will visit the museum on Wednesday, March 16, when Ramy will present him with a mounted A3-size version of one of the images from the exhibition.”

The museum, in the town’s High Street, is open five days a week from Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 5pm.

Admission to ‘Travel Captured Through My Lens’ is by donation.
