A RACE night at Grayshott Social Club was first past the post as it raised an impressive £3,154 for Grayshott’s PK Pre-School.

The event was attend by 60 guests and the funds raised will be used to update school equipment, buy books and arts and crafts materials, and help maintain the building.

In addition to horse racing, there was the chance to enter a balloon raffle, bid in a silent auction with 10 prizes, and enjoy a buffet supper.

PK committee chairman Meg Morgan (pictured fifth from left) said: “We are blown away by the amount of goodwill that local and national businesses have shown to support PK.

“We would like to extend particular thanks to Huntington House and Grayshott.com for sponsoring the event, Grayshott Social Club for their very warm welcome, and the sponsors of the races.”
