CHILDREN at Liphook infant and junior schools enjoyed a fantastic day of circus skills workshops when Cirque Normandie put up their big top on the school playing field last week.

Pupils from all classes got to try their hand at skills including juggling, plate spinning, hoola hooping and diabolo, and were able to see circus performances at the school in Avenue Close, over two days following the workshops.

Executive headteacher Michele Frost said: "It's great to see the children having fun and improving their hand-eye co-ordination skills at the same time - we all had an amazing time."
