Bramshott and Liphook Parish Council is losing another councillor after James Enticknap-Green announced his resignation last week.

He was co-opted on to the parish council in December 2015.

James was elected chairman of the recreation committee last May, and he played an active part in negotiations between Hampshire County Council and the parish council over the replacement of the bridge in Radford Park.

He has since brought his professional support to many projects concerning the community.

James told The Herald: “I have enjoyed my time on the parish council, but due to work commitments with my own company Liphook Tree Surgeons, I can no longer devote any more time to council matters.”

Following his resignation, on April 4, a casual vacancy now exists and unless 10 registered electors request an election before Wednesday, April 25, the vacancy will be filled by another co-option.

Notifications should be send to the Monitoring Officer, EHDC, Penns Place, Petersfield GU31 4EX.
