LIPHOOK'S popular annual summer event, Gig in the Garden, has been scrapped by organiser Ben Lawrence.

Held at the beginning of August over the last six years at The Anchor pub in The Square, it has run its course, after recent refurbishment left no room in the garden for the large staging area required for the bands to play on.
